Notice of Closure
Hardeman County Courthouse, Hardeman County Landfill and Health Department will be closed in observance of Good Friday. We will open normal business hours on Monday, April 21, 2025. Hope everyone has a Happy and Blessed Easter!

State of Emergency Declaration
WHEREAS, a natural disaster occurred within the geographical limits of Hardeman County on April 3, 2025; and WHEREAS, the impact of this disaster has resulted in extensive property damage, displacement of residents, disruption of essential services; and WHEREAS, the safety, health, and well-being of residents and visitors of Hardeman County are at risk, from additional forecasted storms, thus, requiring immediate government response and coordination of emergency services; and WHEREAS, local resources, emergency personnel, and first responders are fully engaged in response and recovery efforts but require additional support to effectively address the crisis; and WHEREAS, this situation meets the conditions for an official declaration of emergency as per the order of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on April 3, 2025; NOW, THEREFORE, I, Todd Pulse, Mayor of Hardeman County, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the laws of Tennessee, do hereby declare a State of Emergency in Hardeman County. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated Section 13-7-105, notice is hereby given of public hearings that will be held by the Hardeman County Commission on March 18, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Hardeman County Court House. The hearing will be held in order to receive public input on the following proposed amendment to the Hardeman County Zoning Resolution: A RESOLUTION TO AMEND CHAPTER 3, GENERAL PROVISIONS, 3.04 ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, PERTAINING TO PERMITTING RESIDENTIAL ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN THE FRONT YARD BUT NOT WITHIN THE REQUIRED FRONT YARD FOR TRACTS 1 ACRE OR GREATER Full copies of the proposed amendments may be viewed in the Zoning Compliance Office and the County Mayor’s Office during normal business hours.
