State of Emergency Declaration
WHEREAS, a natural disaster occurred within the geographical limits of Hardeman County on April 3, 2025; and WHEREAS, the impact of this disaster has resulted in extensive property damage, displacement of residents, disruption of essential services; and WHEREAS, the safety, health, and well-being of residents and visitors of Hardeman County are at risk, from additional forecasted storms, thus, requiring immediate government response and coordination of emergency services; and WHEREAS, local resources, emergency personnel, and first responders are fully engaged in response and recovery efforts but require additional support to effectively address the crisis; and WHEREAS, this situation meets the conditions for an official declaration of emergency as per the order of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on April 3, 2025; NOW, THEREFORE, I, Todd Pulse, Mayor of Hardeman County, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the laws of Tennessee, do hereby declare a State of Emergency in Hardeman County. Solid Waste Centers Closed for Thanksgiving
Our Solid Waste Centers will be closed on Thanksgiving, but will be open on Saturday, Nov. 29 to assist you then. Happy Thanksgiving!
