State of Emergency Declaration
April 3, 2025 WHEREAS, a natural disaster occurred within the geographical limits of Hardeman County on April 3, 2025; and WHEREAS, the impact of this disaster has resulted in extensive property damage, displacement of residents, disruption of essential services; and WHEREAS, the safety, health, and well-being of residents and visitors of Hardeman County are at risk, from additional forecasted storms, thus, requiring immediate government response and coordination of emergency services; and WHEREAS, local resources, emergency personnel, and first responders are fully engaged in response and recovery efforts but require additional support to effectively address the crisis; and WHEREAS, this situation meets the conditions for an official declaration of emergency as per the order of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on April 3, 2025; NOW, THEREFORE, I, Todd Pulse, Mayor of Hardeman County, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the laws of Tennessee, do hereby declare a State of Emergency in Hardeman County.
